The technology inventory most companies do not have

Visibility and trust

Ask most leadership teams what technology systems their organization runs and they will give you a partial answer. Ask what integrations exist between those systems, which vendors have access to which data, and what would happen if any one of them went offline, and the picture gets much murkier. A complete technology inventory is not a glamorous deliverable but it is a foundational one. Every roadmap, every security assessment, every budget conversation, and every acquisition due diligence process starts with a clear picture of what is actually there. Most organizations are making decisions based on an incomplete one.
