Agile in name is not agile in practice

Engineering delivery

Most technology teams have adopted the vocabulary of agile. Fewer have internalized the operating model. Daily standups and sprint planning exist as rituals without producing the outcomes agile is designed to create: faster delivery, better prioritization, and a tighter feedback loop between what is built and what the business actually needs. The companies that get real value from agile are the ones where the practices are connected to business outcomes, not just followed as process. That distinction is visible in the work and in the results.
